Dear Mr. & Mrs. Rubin,

We are sorry you were unable to attend the dedication of the Fowell Ave Project. On behalf of the Greater Nashua Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and the Duchesne family, please accept this plaque as a token of our appreciation for your contributions to the that project. Without community support Habitat would not be able fulfill our mission to assist low income families in need of safe and affordable housing.

Good day,

Another summer has come and gone and I sincerely hope you enjoyed yours. Kids are back in school, leaves are turning, and another ultra successful Children’s Bum Camp Golf Tournament has been penciled into the record books. For the second straight year the efforts of our tournament committee and the generous support of sponsors like you have made it possible for us to donate over $1 8,000 to the Children’s Bum Camp in Unity, Connecticut.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your involvement in this worthy cause. The Nashua Firemen’s Relief Association Children’s Burn Camp Golf Tournament has gained recognition throughout New England as a major contributor to this Burn Camp. We couldn’t have done it without you. Your donations directly translate into a higher quality camp experience for these children. Your help counts.

In closing, I would like to once again thank you for your involvement and I look forward to your continued support in 2004.

Sincerely,

Brian D. Rhodes
Golf Committee Chairperson

Attention: Ms. Naomi Shore

On behalf of Riverside Christian Church, thank you for contributing a gift certificate valued at $50.00 to our Benefit Auction for the Little Hands Big Hearts (LHBH) ministry in Honduras. Your gift made a great addition and we truly appreciate your donation.

Riverside Christian Church is partnering with the Little Hands Big Hearts ministry this fall when eleven members will travel to Trujillo in Honduras to assist the work of Mark and Brenda Young at LHBH. The ministry of LHBH is to provide physical, emotional and spiritual care to the people of Honduras especially the next generation of children.

All proceeds and donations received at the Benefit Auction will be used for the purpose of providing construction materials and mechanical supplies. In addition, the team will be taking school and medical supplies to the Little Hands Big Hearts ministry. Because much of the ministry of LHBH is to families with infants and small children, with the funds raised, the team will also be providing clothing and other baby items.

This document may be necessary in order for you to make contribution deductions on your tax return. Any goods or services received in connection with this contribution were incidental and/or were intangible religious benefits. Thank you again for your contribution. May God Bless you.

Sincerely,

Carolee Churchill

We raised $95,000 for the continued growth of the Brian D. Silber Spine Tumor Clinic…

Dear Friends,

Thank you for contributing to the outstanding success of our sixth annual Brian D. Silber Memorial Golf Tournament. With your support, we raised $95,000 for the continued growth of the Brian D. Silber Spine Tumor Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital. The proceeds from the tournament have helped us reach a total of over $600,000 for Brian’s Fund. We are deeply touched by the kindness and generosity demonstrated by so many people.

The Brian D. Silber Spine Tumor Clinic provides treatments for spine tumor patients, patient consultations, and social services for patients and their families. The Clinic also focuses on research into the cause of spine and spinal cord tumors. Spine tumor patients are finding treatment options at the Clinic that are not offered elsewhere. The updated website provides patients with information about the treatment team, services, education, and research.Plans are underway for the seventh annual Brian D. Silber Memorial Golf Tournament which will take place in July, 2004. We hope that we can count on you again to participate in this special event.

We are grateful to you for making this year’s tournament a success and for your camaraderie, loyalty, and support. Working together we can truly make a difference in the lives of spine tumor patients and their families.

Sincerely,

Sharon and Jason Silber

Bernie & Phyl’s helps support programs for area children

Dear PAL Supporter,

Thank you for your contribution of auction/raffle items to the Thirteenth Annual P.A.L. Golf Tournament at Passaconaway Country Club on Wednesday June 25, 2003. The tournament hosted 124 golfers who enjoyed a sunny round of golf. Raffle prizes were awarded during the barbeque. Those attending the auction were treated to some spirited bidding for some excellent items. With help from your business we were more than successful in generating necessary funds for the PAL program.

The tournament cleared just over $18,000. This was our most successful tournament to date. Since we do not have any paid staff, the money raised at this golf tournament will go directly to programs for area children, particularly at our Ash Street Community Center.

Again, our sincere thanks for your support. We hope you will help us again next year.

Sincerely,

Officer Kevin Landry

On behalf of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and those we serve, I would like to thank you for generously donating a gift certificate to the 2003 King’s Grant Labor Day Auction. The Muscular Dystrophy Association covers 43 different neuromuscular diseases, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy, (the most common form of muscular dystrophy in young boys), and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

Once again, thank you for your support of MDA and the Labor Day Auction. I hope to work with you again in the future.

Dear Friends,

Thank you very much for your help in making this year’s Summer Garden Party a great success for My Brother’s Table. Your generous support and donation of a gift certificate has helped us to raise a spectacular $53,000 to continue funding our mission of feeding the hungry and needy in our community 365 days a year.

We are fortunate to hold this annual, summer celebration at the beautiful, oceanside location of Marian Court in Swarnpscott, where our guests can enjoy the atmospheric music played by The Blue Ribbon Jazz

Ensemble, whilst sampling delicious food including that provided and served by local establishments such as The Lyceum, Red “I’ R6ck, The Porthole, Edgewater Cafe and Tides Restaurant.

As always, the artistry of the Nahant Garden Club and the generosity of local florists combined to create stunning floral arrangements. We are also grateful to Vinnin Square and Lynnway Liquors for coordinating the beverages and to all our many volunteers who worked hard before, during and after the event to make it a special evening for everyone.

Your commitment to helping the hungry by donating to My Brother’s Table is most appreciated. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.

Sincerely,

Mary Magner
