Dear Ms. Shore,

Thank you for generously donating to Adoption & Foster Care Mentoring in the past.  Your donation has helped us to ensure that foster and adopted youth in the Greater Boston area have consistent, positive mentoring relationships in their lives.

The first few months of 2007 have been very productive.  We just finished our online auction, where we raised over $5,600.  A special thanks goes to our new AmeriCorps VISTA Fundraising Coordinator, Molly Paskach, who organized the auction.  Molly joined the staff in Janury and will be handling all aspects of fundraising, including individual giving, grants, and special events.

We have some other new staff members who startedin January, as well.  Sabrina Barron is our new AmeriCorps VISTA Recruitment and Volunteer Coordinator.  One of Sabrina’s big prjects right now is coordinating a mentor recruitment drive.  Please see the attached flyer for more information on that.  Ann Green joined our staff as the VISTAManager, after serving as a volunteer Grant Writer.  Ann oversees AFC’s VISTA program, supervises the VISTA staff, and helps with grant writiing and other fudraising and marketing projects.

Thank you again for your support and for your effort to empower foster and adopted youth to flourish through committed mentorig relationships!

Sincerely,

J. Justin Pasquariello

Dear Naomi,

We wanted to take the time to thank you for your donation of a $50 gift certificate to ABCD’s 6th Annual Charity Auction Fundraiser.  Your contribution was a great addition to our auction items and certainly got the crowd excited.  We truly appreciate your generosity.

The auction was a great success and it truly would not have been possible without the support of dedicated donors like you.  Thank you for helping us with this worthy cause.  The funds we raised will allow us to assist very desperate children, families and individuals to avoid homelessness or to provide “a roof over their heads”.

On behalf of ABCD nd our constituents, thank you once again for all of your kindness and support.  You will be receiving your tax information letter from our accounting department shortly regarding your donation.  If you have any questions, or if we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to call us.

Dear Ms. Shore,

On March 24, 2007, the Odyssey Parents Assocation hosted their 10th annual Auction.  We thank you for the essential role your donation played in our success.

Since all proceeds go directly to the schools academic enrichment, scholoarship reserve and special programs fund, you have participated in helping a child receive a high-quality education.  As a self-supporting school, fundraisers are necessary for us to continue to provide high-quality, affordable education and child-care services.  We turn to friends, families, and businesses for that support.  We want to say thank you for answering our call!

On behalf of the students, families, faculty and Board of Directos of Odyssey Day School, we thank you for your generosity, thoughtfulness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ellie Lyons
Principal, Odyssey Day School

Dear Bernie and Phyl’s Furniture,

We would like to thank you for your generous donation of a gift certificate with a value of $25.00 to the Fales Parent Group’s silent auction. In order to comply with IRS regulations, I would like to note thatno goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution.

The silent auction is our major fundraiser, adn thanks to the generosity of families, businesses and organizations such as yours, we have been able to fund items not included in the budget.  In year’s past, money raised at the auction allowed the school to purchase books for the school Literacy Center, classroom computers, microscopes, safety upgrades for our playground, academic enrichment programs and hands-on science demonstrations to augment our classroom lessons.

Once again, on behalf of the entire student body, which benefitted from your generosity, we would like to extend our most sincere thanks and appreciation.

Sincerely,

Linda Townsend
