Dear Ms. Shore:

Thank you for your role in making Interfaith’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament such a great success!  With your support, more than $14,000 (net) was raised to help fund our programs for those in need.

We greatly appreciate your donation of a $25 gift certificate.  Your generosity makes it possible for us to ensure that individuals and families in need on e South Shore have access to food, clothing, limited financial assitance, and counseling.  No goods or services of any value were or will be transferred to you in connection wth this donation.  Please keep this written acknowlegment of your donation for your tax records.

During the first half of 2007, more than 5,400 individuals received 3-5 days worth of food through the Pantry Shelf - a 12% increase over the same period last year.  The number of children served has increased by 15% and the number of those over ge 60 by 36%.  The number of counseling sessions conducted through New Directions has increased by 15%.  Counselors haveheld more than 900 therapy sessions for adults, children, families, and couples.  Many of our clients do not have health insurance cverage and utilize our sliding scale fee structure.  Requests for financial assistance continue to reach new heights; many families strugle to make ends meet.  We are able to serve so many because of thoughtful contributions from people like you.

As we celebrate our 60th year of “strengthening family life and offering assistance” we will continue our efforts to reach out to our neighbors in need. We will expand the servicesof New Directions Counseling so that we may meet the increased demand for our services.  We will strive to increase the availability of meat, dairy, and produce items in the Pantry Shelf.  New workshops will be offered to Career Closet clients.

We hope that you will join us for our 60th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 25th at the Quincy Neighborhood Club.  Additional details are available at http://www.interfaithsocialservices.org/.

Once again, thank you for your kindness.  We hope that you will continue to support Interfaith and those we serve.  God bless.

Sincerely,

Laura E. Stracco
